Annie LaPoint is an American fine artist who specializes in watercolors. She started painting and drawing at a very young. While in high school, she had developed a penchant for painting, so much so that she attended art classes and got private art lessons from experts. In1991, she set out to expand her watercolor knowledge by attending classes at a local art league. At the beginning, she found herself painting what she loved, and these were pots of different flowers and ivy. However, Annie's instructions at the league were for landscape painting. Even though she is well known for her paintings pots of flowers and ivy, she currently likes creating artwork that put smile on viewers’ faces. Her creative works have been used in a number of home and garden products, including pots and plates.
Annie collages her artwork with Bible verses in order to share the word of God with her audience. She gives thanks to God for her talent, understanding that God is the greatest artist there is. Annie’s art pieces are of high quality and are made using a style that copes with the latest trends yet always remaining fashionable. The fact that she reaches people of all walks through her artwork gives her a lot of satisfaction. However, her greatest desire is to share the word of God with her audience through her artwork, and that’s why she includes scriptural messages. Anne is married to her husband Ken with whom they have three grown up children. Their family also gets involved in philanthropic and charity works through a building ministry in Mexico called ULCB Casabuilders.
