Stephane Fontaine is an artist based in Montreal. He’s a graduate of the Fine Arts program offered at Ontario College of Art & Design. He primarily focuses on abstract and natural subjects, using mixed media techniques and a variety of materials, such as paint, metal, wood, and found objects. His main artistic body of work is sculptural relief. This owes to his background in carpentry. Fontaine is inspired by the works of Anselm Kiefer and Patterson Ewen and also by natural elements. His art is known to reflect the casual, contemporary and colorful subjects. He loved art from his childhood and he knew that his career would be in the arts industry. Fontaine has become very famous and has a wide base of clients that he serves diligently. He’s much appreciated for his keenness to detail that makes his images look very real.
